Town Hall Meeting

Those who have visited the FilmOntario updates on this website, or visited the FilmOntario website, will have seen mention of an upcoming Town Hall. The subject of this meeting are the Disincentives, both Federal and Provincial, to filming in Toronto.

WHEN: Friday, April 29th @ 2pm
WHERE: The Commissary, Toronto Film Studios.

This meeting will provide a forum for you to voice your feelings about having to travel to Hamilton and points further for work, so that producers may qualify for the additional 10% provincial tax incentive that is often the difference between a project being made or shelved.

As well, learn more about why Broadcasters can benefit more by licensing shows from "regions" rather than those produced in Toronto or Montreal.
