Members may be listed in a maximum of two categories. Permittees may be listed in one category only.

To change categories, the member or permittee must send a letter (hard copy by mail or fax only) to the Vice-President of the appropriate category, outlining the reasons for the change of category and including credits if applicable.

For upgrades, the procedure is the same (must have a minimum of four credits in the position requested on NABET 700 CEP shows). Once the request is approved or rejected, the member or permittee will be notified by the office.
