Space snags ‘CSI’ creator’s ‘Cybergeddon’

Anthony Zuiker’s online web drama is headed to the small screen: Space has purchased the Canadian television broadcast rights for the CSI mastermind’s Cybergeddon.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, the shot in Toronto digital drama — which stars Rookie Blue‘s Missy Peregrym and Halle Berry’s baby daddy Olivier Martinez — has also been cleared for broadcast by Astral Media’s French language channel, Ztélé.Cybergeddon stars Peregrym as Chloe Jocelyn, a federal agent investigating a series of online attacks. After being framed by the cyberbaddies, Chloe is on the run from authorities and attempting to thwart the group before their next crime.
The project was made into a 90-minute feature that was chopped into segments for online broadcast on Yahoo.
Meanwhile, Peregrym and her Rookie Blue pals are set to return to the airwaves this summer. Global and ABC premiere Season 4 of the Canadian cop drama on Thursday, May 23, at 10 p.m. ET.
