July Update from FilmOntario, July 18, 2016
Dear FilmOntario Members,
Changes at the OMDC
OMDC has announced the appointment of Erin Creasey to the position of Manager, Industry Initiatives (effective July 4), and of Suzan Ayscough to the position of Manager of Communications & Corporate Secretary (effective August 3). We would like to welcome them both to their new roles.
Erin will oversee the OMDC’s international business and industry development activities as well as the Film and Export Funds. She has been with the Agency as a Program Consultant since earlier this year, and previously worked in the book publishing industry.
Suzan comes to the OMDC from the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, where she was Director of Communications and successfully launched Canadian Screen Week and the Canadian Screen Awards. She has also held senior communications roles in several industry organizations, including Alliance Communications and Telefilm Canada.
We would also like to thank James Weyman and George McNeillie, who retired at the end of June, for their years of support to the industry. We wish you all the best in your new adventures.
