Member Survey Now Live!

The purpose of the survey is to learn more about our members and your views on the industry, and to ensure we are focusing on the most important issues facing the industry.

The information we collect will be completely confidential, and responses will be anonymous. Any identifying information will be used only to prevent duplication of any financial data collected, and will not be published, shared, or associated with individual companies in any way. Survey results will only be shared in aggregate.

We will use the survey results to promote the industry to government, to support our arguments for maintaining and improving government support, and to inform our future activities.

The survey will be open until Monday, November 20, but don’t wait, fill it out today!

Annual General Meeting
Don’t forget! This year’s AGM is taking place at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. This year we are pleased to be welcoming the Honourable Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario as our guest speaker.

The business portion of the meeting will begin at 5:45 pm sharp, and our guest speaker will be on at 7:00 pm.

If you haven’t done so already, please RSVP, and pass on the invite to others in your organization who may be interested in attending.

FilmOntario Day at Queen’s Park
Also, don’t forget FilmOntario Day at Queen’s Park will be happening all day on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.

Starting with Question Period, we will be at the legislature all day meeting with MPPs and spreading the word about our industry’s economic impact. At the end of the day, the Honourable Eleanor McMahon, Minister of Tourism Culture and Trade, will join us at a reception welcoming all the MPPs and their key political staff to wrap up the day. AFC Launches New Financial Wellness Program
The AFC, the lifeline for Canada’s entertainment industry, is pleased to announce that the Financial Wellness Program is now open to all industry workers.

The Financial Wellness Program helps entertainment professionals working in all aspects of film and TV, theatre, music and dance build and maintain financial stability.

These high-value and high-quality services usually have a fee attached, but through The AFC, you can access them for free.
