August 7 FilmOntario Update

Update
August 7, 2018

OMDC Acting Director of Tax Credits
OMDC’s Director of Tax Credits, Jennifer Blitz, will be going on parental leave as of Friday, August 10 for the next year. The OMDC has let us know that Marina Adam, currently Manager of the Music Office, will be filling the role as Acting Director while Jennifer is away.

Prior to joining the OMDC, Marina held a number of senior government positions in both Ontario and British Columbia, including the Ministries of the Attorney General, Finance, International Trade (in B.C.), and Culture. She was also the Manager of Policy and Stakeholder relations at OLG and a Special Policy Advisor at Ontario’s Ministry of Finance, where she supported the delivery of a number of high profile policy and program commitments. Her education at UBC and her early years in the private sector were in film and television production, specializing in post-production sound editing.

Marina can be reached by email at madam@omdc.on.ca.; if you would like a personal introduction please do not hesitate to let me know.

All of us at FilmOntario would like to wish Jennifer well during her leave and look forward to working with Marina over the next year.
