As you may have heard, the Minister of Finance has announced that he will be presenting the 2019 Provincial Budget on April 11, 2019.

FilmOntario has participated in the formal Budget consultation process to highlight the importance of stable and effective tax credits in supporting jobs and investment in the province’s film and television industry. You can read our written Budget Submission here and the transcript of our appearance before the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs here.

We also continue to be in touch with political staff and MPPs from all parties as part of our ongoing advocacy efforts. If you have any questions about the submission or the Budget process, please don’t hesitate to be in touch.
