xoTO Schools Co-op Program
The xoTO Schools, TDSB Co-op Student Placement Program, is part of a new initiative with the City of Toronto, The Film Industry and the Toronto District School Board that enables enhanced access for location filming in 11 pre-approved Toronto District School Board properties across the GTA.
The program includes a commitment from the Film Industry to create interactive educational opportunities for TDSB students to participate in co-op placements, within the Film Sector, showing students the true career potential that exists in this industry.
NABET 700-M UNIFOR is a proud participant and supporter of this initiative, providing experiential learning opportunities for TDSB co-op students.
How to apply for a Co-op Placement with the xoTO Schools TDSB Co-op Student Program:
The student must be attending a TDSB school, be 16 years or older and have a minimum of 16 credits.
Students can obtain a Co-op placement application from their school in the the schools Co-op or Student Services Department.
Submit a completed application to your Co-op teacher who will submit the application through the CCEL system.
