This 2 day seminar/workshop has been designed for the those in the Lighting Department who are interested in eventual 269 E certification. As you may know, EESCO has put together a 7 Module course, to present technicians with the information necessary for the 269E examination. This rigging course has been designed to address and review topics that are covered, in some way shape or form, on the exam.

  • Industry Standards / Working Load Limits / Load Forces / Load Weight / Centre of Gravity
  • History, Care, Handling Fibre & Wire Rope
  • Knots, Coiling, End Terminations / Rated Hardware
  • Block & Tackle / Counterweight,Mechanical & Motorized Systems
  • Hoisting, Lifting, Truss, Slings,Hitches,Bridles
  • Lines of Communication / Venue Installation, Redundant Safeties / Rescue Plan / De – Rigging
  • Scaffolds / Related Elements
  • Hands On Demonstrations
