Your training will cover two days and include:

• formal classroom learning 
• a supervised practical hands-on component
• an evaluation by an authorized instructor 

You'll explore the basics of forklift operation including selection criteria, stability, lift capacity and other principles of counterbalance theory. Legislation, guidelines and standards governing the use of powered lift trucks are also explored, as well as how to arm yourself against the hazards specific to the operation of a forklift through safe operating rules and practices.
