FORKLIFT SAFETY CERTIFICATION
Don't miss out on this comprehensive course that will instruct you on how to safely operate a forklift.
Please note that December 1st is for new operators only, while December 2nd is restricted to those who are getting re-certified.
Your training will include:
- formal classroom learning
- a supervised practical hands-on component
- an evaluation by an authorized instructor
You'll discuss the basics of forklift operation including selection criteria, stability, lift capacity and other principles of counterbalance theory. Legislation, guidelines and standards governing the use of powered lift trucks are also explored, as well as how to arm yourself against the hazards specific to the operation of a forklift through safe operating rules and practices.
