Pyrotechnics Special Effects Safety and Legal Awareness Course
For all those interested in Pyrotechnics Special Effects please note the upcoming courses:

Time: Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 (8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Location: London Convention Centre, 300 York Street
Time: Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 (8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Persons wishing to attend the Pyrotechnics Special Effects Safety and Legal Awareness Course must complete a registration form and return it along with one current photo and the required fee of $150 (make certified cheque or money order payable to the Receiver General for Canada). Digital photos are now accepted. Email the photo to the email address in your region. Photos must be in JPEG format with your last name as the file name (i.e., Smith.jpg). Ensure your name, course location and date is in the subject line.
Please note there is no photo or fee required if the applicant is attending as an Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). AHJs are members of the public services who are responsible for the authorization and support of pyrotechnics events, such as fire prevention officers, firefighters, and other members of agencies responsible for the carrying out of pyrotechnics events. A letter confirming the status of AHJ must be submitted with the registration form.
