On two consecutive dates, we will be holding separate training sessions to accommodate both new and experienced operators. Please see details below:
Session Dates:
Saturday, November 27th, 2021 (NEW Operators - 6 spots)
Please note NEW operators will be required to return on Sunday for additional hours using the equipment
Sunday, November 28th, 2021 (RENEWAL Operators - 12 spots)
Time: 8am - 5pm

These comprehensive courses will give you the skills you need to safely operate both a telehandler and a counterbalance forklift. The training session will cover both machines and will include:
• Formal classroom learning
• A supervised practical hands-on component
• An evaluation by an authorized instructor
• The proper selection, design, and operation of these vehicles with special attention paid to capacity and stability
• Pre-start inspections
• Overhead guards
• Hydraulic safety
• Use of personal protective equipment
• Legislation, regulations, and standards related to operation and maintenance
• Safe operating rules and practices when dealing with hazards specific to the operation of a forklift
