After several requests from the NABET 700 UNIFOR membership, we're pleased to be able to offer this two-day course designed for workers required to operate Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks, also known as Telehandlers.

Participants will explore:

• The proper selection, design and operation of these vehicles with special attention paid to capacity and stability
• Pre-start inspections 
• Overhead guards
• Hydraulic safety
• Restricted view awareness
• Use of personal protective equipment
• Legislation, regulations and standards related to the operation, and maintenance of RTFTs 

The course is split into two days. On day one, participants will discuss theory and have a chance at hands-on instruction with the Telehandler. On day two, each participant's knowledge and skills will be tested. Upon successful completion of the exam, the participant will receive their Telehandler/RTFT operator certification.

WHEN: Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2015 (must attend both days)
TIME: 10am - 4pm each day
