Would like to find out more about becoming a NABET on-set Women's Rep?
The Women Activists course, designed and run by UNIFOR, is an opportunity for you to come together with your NABET sisters to discuss a wide range of issues that are important in building a healthier, safer work environment.
The course will cover:
- women's work, history and activism
- how to work towards resolving problems or overcoming barriers that women face in the workplace
- communication, critical thinking, and conflict resolution
- ways to take action on issues in the workplace, union and community

This course will also serve as the first round of training for anyone who is interested in becoming an on-set Women's Rep. This role will be similar to a Crew Rep but will serve to act as support for any women in the membership who might feel more comfortable approaching another woman with a workplace issue.
If you're not interested in becoming a Women's Rep but still want to attend the course, that's okay too! We welcome your voice at the table!
