Dear Members,

It is now the LAW and a requirement of the Ministry of Labour that you have a valid Working at Heights certification to work above 10 feet, even if it's only occasionally. This certification is required to be renewed every three (3) years, regardless of whether or not your card has an expiration date.

Anyone working above 10 feet without a valid certification is at risk of being heavily fined by an inspector. 

The NABET 700-M UNIFOR office will be offering Working at Heights courses off-site on the following dates:

This training will aim to provide film industry-specific guidance related to overall safety considerations when working at heights. 

As a part of Worksite Safety and Compliance Centre's COVID-19 safety measures, each participant will need to bring the following equipment with them:

• Harness (if you have your own)
• Safety Work Boots
• Face Mask
