NABET 700-M UNIFOR offers the updated course required by the Ministry of Labour.
The objective of this training will be to provide film industry specific guidance related to overall safety considerations when working at heights. Course content will include the following:
- Review of legislation and regulatory requirements
- Review of roles and responsibilities
- Safe Work Practices in Film and Television
- Ladder Safety, Scaffolds and Lifts
- Rescue Safety; Emergency Rescue plan
- Practical application
This course is required for anyone working at heights.
YOU SHOULD NOW HAVE UPDATED CERTIFICATION!
Beginning April 1, 2015, the Ministry of Labour requires that all workers who work at heights above 10 feet must acquire approved Working at Heights training. This certification will be valid for three years from the date the training is completed.
If your Working at Heights certification (formerly called Fall Protection or Fall Arrest) is older than April 1, 2015 you must get re-certified under the new standards as soon as possible or you will not be able to work above 10 feet.
