Working at Heights: Full Certification - October 23, 2022

Dear Members,
Remember, it is now the law and a requirement of the Ministry of Labour that you have a valid Working at Heights certification any time when working above 10 feet, even if it's only occasionally.
This certification must be renewed every three (3) years, whether or not your card has an expiration date. Anyone working above 10 feet without a valid certification is at risk of being heavily fined by an inspector.
NABET 700-M UNIFOR is offering this training off-site at the Worksite Safety and Compliance Centre located at 2 Lansing Square, Suite 505, North York, ON M2J 4P8. As a part of Worksite Safety and Compliance Centre's COVID-19 safety measures, each participant will need to bring the following equipment with them:
· Harness (if you have your own)
· Safety Work Boots
· Face Mask

WORKING AT HEIGHTS FULL CERTIFICATION This course aims to provide film industry-specific guidance related to overall safety considerations when working at heights. 12 spaces only. Available to all new participants taking the course for the first time, as well as participants who need to renew an expired ticket. *No changes to time and cost for renewal participants. |
