New Ministry of Labour regulations require anyone working above 10 feet to have proper Working at Heights certification. This certification is required to be renewed every three years. Training must be completed before your current certification expires.

If you took your initial updated Working at Heights training in 2015 (after April 1st), you will need to re-certify in 2018.

NABET 700-M UNIFOR offers the updated renewal course required by the Ministry of Labour.

The objective of this training will be to update your skills regarding overall safety considerations when working at heights. Course content will include the following:

  • Review of legislation and regulatory requirements 
  • Review of roles and responsibilities 
  • Safe Work Practices in Film and Television 
  • Ladder Safety, Scaffolds and Lifts
  • Rescue Safety; Emergency Rescue plan 
  • Practical application

This course is required for anyone working at heights.

YOU MUST HAVE TAKEN WORKING AT HEIGHTS AFTER APRIL 1, 2015 IN ORDER TO TAKE THIS COURSE!

THIS IS A RE-CERTIFICATION COURSE ONLY!

Beginning April 1, 2015, the Ministry of Labour requires that all workers who work at heights above 10 feet must acquire approved Working at Heights training. This certification will be valid for three years from the date the training is completed.

You must pay in order to secure your spot in the course.
